8/14/13: Ok so I never made a poll >.>;;; I kept forgetting plus I am still abroad so internet is slow/or doesn't even work! SO! I have taken it upon my own hands to decide the winners! It's so hard for me to choose, I don't want to seem like I play favoritism or anything so what I looked for most was how much time a person took, how well it represented the contest and just, well, the design? though, you may be delighted to hear that I had enough points to award the honorable mentions a little something as well

1st place - by dawnshue - I thought this was beautiful and had really nice font and overall feel
2nd place - by QuirkiDigital - this too was well drawn but also meaningful >3<
3rd place - by MystressVulpes started to struggle here, so many well done pieces, I liked this with the lyrics and the dedication to do a comic!
4th place - by butiseetrouble I liked that this one was done more at night, the colors are so beautiful and the overall feel :3

Honorable Mentions - really, really struggled with 2-3 others to put in the spots, sorry guys ;.; but at least I am still giving you some points?

7/17/13: I'm extending the contest for a couple more days, you have until the 20th to get in your entries I won't extend it further, even now I'm a little meh on extending it so if you want to enter- get yo' entries in!

7/12/13: I forgot to post another update DX I don't know if I will extend this further... I did get a couple more entries but no where near the number of votes when people wanted this contest so unless someone asks for more time, the contest will end in 2 days! Thanks~

6/23/13: ok, I changed the end date for the contest, you all have at LEAST until July 14th... I might start up the crossover contest tomorrow... I didn't really want to have 2 contests running at the same time but not too sure of my internet access next week so yeah! also an entry update! w00t!

6/21/13: I have 4 entries total and as of now, there is only 1 week left for the contest but I got at least 1 request to have it open into the middle of July, so please vote here --> digiworld.deviantart.com/journ… if you're entering and I'll come up with a better end date so then I can start the next contest

6/17/13: Hello again! Another reminder that this contest is open, I put a tentative ending date for the contest... I still want at least 5-6 entries before closing it because I want to start the cross over contest sometime in July

6/9/13: Ok, so since someone asked if they could do a different theme song, I asked if you'd like more of a theme song contest instead, because even though Butterfly won the contest choice, not many people seemed to be entering so! I will now split up into sub-categories "Butterfly" and any other song that a person will choose (if I get 3 or more entries for a certain song) it will then have its own sub-category! Hope this works Good luck! Have fun! :3

Hello everyone! Pick a digimon theme song! if you wanted cross over, don't worry! After this contest that will be the NEXT contest (I once tried holding 2 contests at once and it didn't work so well) so after THIS contest ends, we'll have a crossover contest as for the other choices, I'll open the themes again soon and use those choices

Ok! Read on to see what the Theme Song rules are:

Rules

1A.  Either you can have actual butterflies- also, it could be symbolic butterfly, as in change, growth, metamorphosis; to be interpreted many ways OR you can go here: www.animelyrics.com/anime/digi… and look at the lyrics to come up with something interesting, OR look at the opening and re-create a favorite scene that has the kids flashing by
1B. OR pick another theme song from the series (any season) that speaks to you and represent it! here's the theme song list: www.animelyrics.com/anime/digi…
2. Original characters are *ONLY* allowed if there are characters from the series or games in the deviation as well.
3. Any type of medium is allowed, including: artwork, fiction, cosplay, and pixel art.
4. TWO entries is the maximum; however they must be in 2 different mediums, ex: art and writing or pixel art and cosplay (mix and match!) if they are not 2 mediums, I will make you pick one
5. Preferably a new deviation would be ideal, if you had something similar in the works though, feel free to use that!
6. You can use any characters from seasons 1-6 if you decide to do something more about actual butterflies or a meaning of the song

PRIZES FOR CONTESTS - Many of these prizes may be subject to change... updates will come closer to deadlines

(1st-4th depends on how many entries are received as well! Prizes may vary, if there is only 1 entry for art and 1 for writing or more than 10 entries, etc.)

1st place: 80-100 points and a digital drawing of almost anything!
2nd place: 60-80 points and a colored copics drawing of almost anything!
3rd place: 40-60 points and a colored pencil drawing of almost anything!
4th place: 25-40 points and a penciled drawing of almost anything!

When I say a drawing of "almost anything" I basically mean I'll draw anything unless it's something dA policies won't allow me to submit or if I really suck at the suggestion XD; I normally take on all challenges though X3

PLEASE NOTE! You do NOT have to accept the drawing or points, you are completely free to choose both, 1 or the other or decline the offer. I just feel that it's nice to try and offer something for your hard work</b> :3

The prize-artists may not always reward anything, it varies by contest
